Instead of taking the whole host of learning actively when she acts in front of her learners, this teacher views learners as intelligent entities that are always ready to respond every stimulation and challenge directed to them. This teacher realizes that making them aware of what they need to learn and how to learn them sounds more human than just letting them sit nicely but frozenly in a monotonous class session. this teacher will provide various topics to learn, show them how to learn, and let them which to them. She understands her learners' diversity in learning styles and strategy sooooo..... she will provide them model to make them learn based on the styles they have and strategies appropriate to them. they are encouraged to enrich themselves with various learning resources, and proudle present their attainment in front of the class....buttt... it is a hard work for learners.....WHILE teacher only watch....monitors with motivating comments and feedback...
She does not only assess the outcome but she considers the process is more ultimate. She is passive for the sake of making the learners learn more lively.

i will not say this kind of teacher is the best one. Students need an interesting learning, and that kind of teacher mentioned before, has done the right thing. Students become active and creative during their learning process.
But teacher can not do this all the time. Not all subjects can be done in this way, sometimes teacher needs to take control in some subjects which are seen quit difficult to students. This action should be taken by the teacher to avoid a missunderstanding during their learning activities.
So i do not agree with the teacher if he/she keep doing his/her methode without combining with "classic" methode i mentioned above.

first,.as a learner i indeed admire this teacher, because she/he let me explore my knowledge, my intelligent, my way of thinking..so, i can show my expression and my ability freely. second,.not only my academic skill (hardskill) which is going to develop,but also my softskill which is going to develop, especially for communication/speaking capability.As we know, affective and academic points are important to be balanced in order to the learner can compete with their future well.
Conclusion:
Both the teacher and the learner have more benefits on themselves..Think about that!

IMO, Passive teacher is not as good as the active one. In fact, her passiveness in teaching often cause students, even active students to become sleepy. Maybe because the lack of sound she made.
However, the positive thing is her passiveness force students to speak up, to ask when they don't understand.
Still, teachers should balance their way of teaching in class.

Maam, I think passive teacher have no effect for active students because they have self-motivation to dig out the material from the teacher. Beside, they have a well-understanding in material that given by teacher. But, the teacher should not too passive so that the students can easily have an interactive with the the teacher.

i think, In this case if only one side actives, learning process will never effective. Both of them (teacher and learners) must be active and participating.The active learners have spirits and ambitions to know what they want to know but there’s no help to guide them.
But for me, this situation is better than another situation (fallowing case). The reason is, somebody can find out what they need outside the class. They can do browsing, go to library, or asking other source. They still can find more knowledge with or without teacher.

Passive tacher, Active learner??
I argue that passive teacher is better than more talk one. Why?
Despite the learner not fully like this system, it really good for the students self. Too much talk from tacher can make students feel sleepy and boring. What the teacher said can catch by students, when there is an interaction inside class. Students have to more asking about something they don't understand if they don't want leaved by the active learner one.
The teacher have to show the rules where the students have to more active. active to ask even doing assignment.

Active teacher for active learners
It will be good if her learners always ready to respond every stimulation and challenge directed to them because not all students active to respond problems directed to them. Some students become lazy to give their opinion. They realize that the lesson is not important to learn. The others say that they have known all about the lesson. I think the learning methods only for active learners.

The Passive Teacher For Active Learners is a good idea, but not in developing country like Indonesia. Indonesia has more passive learners than active learners, this fact proves that most of us as learners aren't ready to get that kind of teacher. According to me, i like the kind of this teacher. Because, i'm a kind of people that i always need some explanation first before i do some task that be given by her. I think “Passive Teacher for active Learners” is better method than “Active Teacher acts“. My reasons is the “Active Teacher acts“ only give us knowledge but not for skill. Different with passive teacher her methods can make us know and understand. In the other side with her methods we can get both hard skill and soft skill. This is my opinion the advantage Passive Teacher methods than active teacher acts.
First With provide various topic I believe every body can present their English in some topic that they like. In second article learners only roles as listener and not to active present their ability. and it doesn’t guarantee the learner can practice their English.
Second, show how to learn can be considering matter for learner to get knowledge and skill from English program easily. May be we can get solving for the other program. And with various learning resources learners will get vast knowledge. But if we only have one learning resources, we will not follow English development
If that methods can be applied, we will get both hard skill and soft skill that our school institute programming.
